Spring Softcore Kickball at Sewallcrest Park Sundays

In just over a full calendar year of "kickballing" Chase has been a revelation. Starting off by learning not to "manbunt", Chase has become an accurate kicker with some pretty good wheels. His niche however, has been behind the plate, as one of the fastest, and headiest catchers in the league. Today, Chase made his presence felt, catching a few popped up bunts, turning a double play, and making an amazing diving, rolling tag out at home to end 2 Legit 2 Kick's game. Nice job out there Chase!

After a great bottom of the 6th Sons of Pitches score 9 runs to lead the top 7th 13-8. But w00ks weren't going down easy, after getting one on base their next kick sends them both home bringing it 13-10. The next kicker hits a ground roll double following an out by fouls. Tension is high as the next kicker gets on to first and the 2nd baser makes it all the way home with a score 13-11. With a big kicker up the ball goes flying high into the air, but it is caught for the 2nd out. The runner on 1st tags up and makes for 2nd base but Darcy is prepared calling for the caught ball and obliterates the runner as he nears with in a stride of the base to secure the win!
