Team Payment Policy


By signing up as a team, small group or individual, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all NJ Play Sports Policies and league rules. It is your responsibility to field a full and legal team each week. Your registration form alone does NOT confirm your placement on a team or in a league. Individuals and Teams are only confirmed to a league once full payment has been received prior to the Deadline. We reserve the right to add individual players to groups that sign up as a team with less than the minimum number of players required to play the sport. We may also add individuals to teams that have the minimum number of players required to play but need extra players to help avoid forfeits.

NJ Play Sports will keep the individual registration fee for any player added above the minimum required to play. 

All individuals, groups, and teams must be registered at least 7 days prior to the start date of the 
league. Any player or team not fully registered and/or paid by the deadline may be removed by NJ Play Sports. 


All payments to NJ Play Sports are considered final and non-refundable. Your registration form alone does NOT confirm your placement on a team league, tournament, camp or clinic (collectively “Sports Events”). Individuals, Small Groups and Teams are only confirmed to Sports Events once full payment has been received prior to the Deadline. Once your full payment has been received, you will receive electronic confirmation of your completed registration. Please keep this confirmation for your records. NJ Play Sports will NOT provide refunds for Sports Events payments for any reason. If you need to remove yourself from a Sports Events, it is up to you to find a replacement and work out a payment system with your replacement. Any team or player that has not paid by the payment deadline will be removed from the league. NJ Play Sports reserves the right to apply late fees to any player or team not fully paid by the deadline.



NJ Play Sports sporting events (leagues, pick-up games, and tournaments), social events, parties, ane outings are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasers who become injured/sick, do not show up for to sporting or social events, withdraw from a program or event, and/or removed from sporting or social events by an NJ Play Sports staff member.


NJ Play does reserve the right to change the start date and/or location in order to ensure that a sporting or social event occurs to completion.

NJ Play will do our best to make sure all scheduled games within a season are played. If games are postponed due to weather or facility circumstances, we will reschedule games to the best of our ability. In some cases the game location may be changed in order to make the games up. In the event our team is unable to reschedule any postponed game, players will receive a credit for any missed game(s).

Games will be made up in the best possible form, which may include, but not be limited to, more than one game in one day, games held at a near by faciity and/or a non-league night of the week and a schedule extension. Refunds will not be issued if a player is unable to attend a rescheduled game.


In the event that NJ Play Sports has to completely cancel a sporting or event, NJ Play Sports will offer refunds or credits to purchasers.

Note that any online payments made on this website are also governed by the League Lab Participant Payment Terms.
