History

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (SWB) RailRiders are the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Based in Moosic, Pennsylvania, they play at PNC Field. The franchise has undergone three main moniker changes and two MLB affiliations since its current iteration was established in Northeastern Pennsylvania in 1989
