LEAGUE PLAY Rules

General Rules 

Regular Season
Regular season scheduling for LEAGUE PLAY will be randomized 

- Players will compete against their opponents in  two games per match 

- Each team will play a game as the home team and the away team

- Regular season games can end as a tie. NO EXTRA TIME in the regular season

Postseason

Postseason single-elimination brackets will be seeded based on regular season performance 

- Similar to the regular season, post season matches are made up of two games where each team will play as a home and away team. 

- Aggregate scoring will be applied to each game at the end of the full time   

- If the match-up is tied after two games, the two teams will compete in a third game. 

- GOLDEN GOAL RULE IS IN EFFECT. 

- The higher seed will act as the home team. 

- Throughout the postseason, the lower-seeded team will host the first game and the higher-seeded team will host the second

- The host (home team) is responsible for creating the head 2 head lobby and inviting the opponent to the match

The WINNING TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING THE SCORE FOR ALL REGULAR SEASON AND POSTSEASON GAMES.

Half Length: 6 Minutes (12 Full Match)

Controls: PS4 or XBOX Only

Game Speed: Normal

Squad Type: Online

Team Size: 1v1

Tactical defending mode only

BO1 only

Event Details (League Play)

• LEAGUE events will include regular season games, prior to the single elimination postseason tournament.
• Tournaments are single-elimination 
• Seeding for these tournaments is based on regular season performance

*If a participant forfeits a match, the score will be recorded as 3-0 

Prize Details

This is not a cash prize league. Participants will compete for branded championship gifts. 

Sportsmanship Details

Unsportsmanlike activities including (but not limited to) trolling, cheating, and bullying will not be tolerated. Participants who cannot follow this rule will be eliminated from registered tournaments (without refund), and banned from upcoming tournaments. Examples of these offenses are: 

• Repeatedly committing penalties to slow the game down 
• Verbal or written abuse via any communication platform 
• Disconnection glitching 

The result of a Competitor’s disconnection from a match depends on whether the disconnection was intentional.  Whether or not a disconnection is deemed intentional or unintentional is in the sole discretion of the tournament officials.
